The recruiting momentum of winning a Big 12 championship and the Peach Bowl continued for TCU over the weekend, as the Horned Frogs landed a commitment from Houston Bellaire junior receiver Courtney Lark.

Lark, a consensus four-star prospect, is ranked as the No. 3 receiver in the 2016 class, according to 247 Sports.

His pledge also boosted TCU’s 2016 class to No. 3 in the country in 247 Sports’ team rankings. ESPN, Rivals and Scout haven’t posted 2016 team rankings yet.

TCU holds commitments from eight 2016 recruits, all three-stars or higher on 247 Sports Composite rating, which combines ratings from all four national recruiting coverage websites.

Lark, athlete Christian Wallace, quarterback Brennen Wooten, athlete Deriq King and cornerback Keshawn Somerville are all four-stars.

Wooten committed last summer. Wallace, King, Somerville and Lark all pledged after TCU’s 11-1 regular season.
