Ken Starr has resigned as chancellor at Baylor but will continue to teach in the law school, he told ESPN on Wednesday.

Starr was removed as president and football coach Art Briles was fired on Thursday after an external review found the university failed to respond to reports of sexual assaults by football players.

Athletic director Ian McCaw resigned on Monday after naming Jim Grobe as interim coach.

Starr initiated the review by the Philadelphia law firm Pepper Hamilton after former football player Sam Ukwuachu was convicted in August 2015 of sexually assaulting a female soccer player.
