Leading scorer Chauncey Collins and reserve Lyrik Shreiner are leaving TCU, the school announced Tuesday.

New coach Jamie Dixon indicated that Collins is going to play professionally and that Shreiner is transfering.

The moves likely stem from the arrivals of two new guards, Jaylen Fisher and Desmond Bane, Dixon’s first recruits. Collins spent most of last season as the starting point guard, although he missed three games for undisclosed reasons.

Shreiner averaged 1.8 minutes in 22 games and did not start.

Collins led the Horned Frogs in scoring at 12.3 points per game.

Their departures leave the Horned Frogs with veteran guards Malique Trent, who led the Big 12 in steals, starter Brandon Parrish and reserves Michael Williams and Dalton Dry.
