TCU finishes third in the polls

TCU finished third in the final AP Top 25 poll, its highest ranking since ending the 2010 season at No. 2. The Horned Frogs also finished third in the coaches poll, behind national champion Ohio State and runner-up Oregon.

The Horned Frogs, which entered the final week of the season ranked third in the College Football Playoff rankings, fell to sixth after Ohio State’s 59-0 victory over Wisconsin in the Big 10 championship and Baylor’s victory over Kansas State.

The Horned Frogs have finished in the Top 25 seven of the past 10 seasons, including four in the top 10.
