Oregon is getting away from its green and yellow for the College Football Playoff National Championship and will take the field in white jerseys with gray and silver accents.
Nike unveiled the uniforms for the Jan. 12 game at AT&T Stadium on Monday.
Nike says Ohio State’s scarlet jersey, with white and gray accents, is reminiscent of the 1968 national championship game, when No. 1 Ohio State beat second-ranked USC 27-16 in the Rose Bowl. The Buckeyes will be wearing their traditional gray pants and helmet.
