One whole day of game coverage on Jan. 12 isn’t enough for ESPN, which begins its week of pregame hype from North Texas on Monday.

In addition to its College Football Live, College GameDay and Championship Drive: Countdown to Kickoff telecasts, SportsCenter will be live from Sundance Square Monday through Friday and on Jan. 11. (SC moves to the Dallas Convention Center on Jan. 10 and inside AT&T Stadium on Jan. 12.)

Meanwhile, ESPN2 programs First Take, His & Hers and SportsNation will air live from Gilley’s in downtown Dallas Monday through Friday and again on Jan. 12. A special edition of First Take will air following the championship game from a set outside AT&T Stadium. Also, The Sports Reporters and Colin’s Football Show will originate from Sundance Square on Jan. 11.

ESPNU’s coverage from Dallas begins Jan. 10, with live broadcasts of both teams’ press conferences. A special CFB Daily: Championship Experts will air Jan. 11, from Dallas and an ESPNU Championship Drive Tailgate show originates from the stadium Jan. 12.

ESPN Radio’s coverage will include 48 hours of on-site programming from Sundance Square Wednesday through Friday, with daily live editions of Mike & Mike, The Herd With Colin Cowherd and SVP & Russillo. The shows also will be live on-site on game day.

All told, more than 50 on-air ESPN types will be in North Texas during the week leading up to the big game.
