TCU’s Paul Dawson named first-team All-American by Walter Camp Foundation

TCU linebacker Paul Dawson has been named a Walter Camp Foundation first-team All-American.

Teammate Trevone Boykin a second-team selection at quarterback and coach Gary Patterson was chosen as the coach of the year for the second time in six seasons.

Dawson, who was also named a first-team all-American by USA Today, is the only player in the nation with at least 100 tackles (128), five sacks and four interceptions.

Boykin, the Big 12 offensive player of the year, ranks third nationally in total offense at 363.0 yards per game. He has set TCU single-season records for passing yards (3,714), touchdown passes (30), total offense (4,356) and touchdowns responsible for (39).
