Former Dallas Cowboys great Charles Haley, who was inducted into this Pro Football Hall of Famer in the summer, will be the keynote speaker for the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl Kickoff luncheon on Dec. 28.

The luncheon will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel. It will be open to the public. Tickets can be purchased online for $50 at www.armedforcesbowl.com.

The 13th annual Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl will be held the following day on Dec. 29 at Amon G. Carter Stadium on the campus of TCU. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.

Tickets to the bowl game range from $30 for general admission seating to $75 dollars for lower bowl reserved seats. A limited number of seats are available in the exclusive Bud Light Platinum Club, located on the west side of the stadium for $125.

Haley is the only player with five Super Bowl rings. He won three with Dallas and two with the San Francisco 49ers.

He gave a rousing, funny and inspiring 11-minute, 42-second induction speech at Canton that won praise as one of the most memorable in history.

The former two-time All-American at James Madison was a fourth-round pick by the Niners in 1986.

He was inducted into the Cowboys’ Ring of Honor in 2011 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
