Shoulder surgeries end TCU safety’s career

George Baltimore, a former standout at Mansfield High School, said he is no longer with the TCU football team because of “extensive shoulder surgeries,” according to a post he made on Instagram.

Baltimore, a safety, tied for the team lead with eight special team tackles as a redshirt freshman last season. He posted a career-high three tackles against Minnesota.

Baltimore entered TCU as the No. 7 safety in Texas and the No. 51 overall player according to Scout.com. He was listed as TCU’s third-string strong safety on the Frogs’ post-spring practice depth chart.
