TCU men’s basketball coach Jamie Dixon will join five colleagues from the Lone Star State to take part in the Coaches vs. Cancer Texas Tip-Off on Sept. 29 in Dallas.
The event, slated for the House of Blues, will include Dixon, Texas coach Shaka Smart, Baylor coach Scott Drew, Texas A&M coach Billy Kennedy, North Texas coach Tony Benford and SMU coach Tim Jankovich. The program will be moderated by ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla, with ESPN sideline reporter Holly Rowe, a cancer survivor, as the guest speaker.
The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball coaches that has raised more than $100 million for the America Cancer Society since 1993.
