Both were named to S.I.'s list of the top 100 college football players, which began with the Nos. 100 through 51 on Monday. The rest of the list (with perhaps additional Horned Frogs) will be released later.
Banogu comes in at No. 98 on the list. S.I. says the defensive end is the top candidate to replace Mat Boesen's sack prowess. Banogu had 8.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss in 2017 and earned Big 12 Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors.
Reagor ranks 90th based, in part, on his 169 yards receiving in the Frogs' Alamo Bowl win over Stanford. His 93-yard touchdown left an impression on S.I. Reagor led TCU with 576 yards and eight touchdowns on 33 receptions in as a freshman in '17. Perhaps incoming true freshman Taye Barber, who turned heads this spring, can help free Reagor up even more this fall for quarterback Shawn Robinson.
