Evan Skoug highlighted a five-run eighth inning with a three-run home run and TCU ran away from West Virginia 9-3 in Big 12 baseball Friday night.

The Horned Frogs (35-9, 11-5 Big 12) also had a three-run second inning to overwhelm the Mountaineers (24-20, 6-10).

TCU had 11 hits, with Cody Jones, Connor Wanhanen and Garrett Crain each getting two and knocking in a run.

Jones and Crain had run-scoring singles and Derek Odell drew a bases loaded walk in the second.
