TCU and West Virginia get 2:30 p.m. kickoff in Morgantown

TCU and West Virginia were assigned a 2:30 p.m. kickoff for their Oct. 22 game, the Big 12 announced Monday.

The matchup will be televised on ABC or ESPN2. It shapes up as one of the top games of that week. West Virginia (4-0, 1-0) is undefeated and ranked 20th by AP and 19th by the coaches going into this week’s game at Texas Tech.

TCU (4-2) is 2-1 in the conference after a win at Kansas last week. The Frogs have a bye this week.

Two years ago in Morgantown, TCU won on a last-second field goal.

The other kickoff times in the league for Week 8 are 11 a.m. for Oklahoma State at Kansas (FS1), 11 a.m. for Texas at Kansas State (ABC, ESPN or ESPN2) and 7 p.m. for Oklahoma at Texas Tech (FOX).
