Garrett Crain knocked in three runs and Tyler Alexander pitched eight solid innings, helping TCU beat Oklahoma 4-2 and complete a Big 12 series sweep Saturday.
The Horned Frogs (43-9, 18-5 Big 12) finish the regular season with a nine-game winning streak.
They will play the league’s eighth-place finisher at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the first round of the Big 12 tournament in Tulsa, Okla.
TCU scored two runs each in the second and sixth innings.
Evan Skoug opened both innings with walks and scored both times.
Crain had an RBI double in the second and Evan Williams a run-scoring single.
Skoug walked in the sixth, moved to third on a double by Nolan Brown and both scored on Crai’s single.
Alexander gave up six hits and issued no walks.
