Kyan Anderson scored 31 points and added five assists as the TCU men beat visiting Tarleton State 69-61 in an exhibition basketball game Thursday night at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center.
Sophomore forward Chris Washburn added 11 points for the Frogs, who led 40-26 at halftime.
TaShawn Mabry led Tarleton, which is ranked No. 10 in NCAA Division II, with a double-double, scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Senior guard Mo Lee added 14 points for the Texans, who outscored TCU 35-29 in the second half.

Anderson was 8-of-11 from the field and hit all 13 free throws.
TCU coach Trent Johnson said he gathered much information from the game.
“You want to play everyone in certain combinations and situations,” Johnson said. “Tarleton will win a lot of games. It was a good test for us.”
