Upsets mark first day of Big 12 tourney

TCU wasn’t the only high seed to fall at the Big 12 tournament on Wednesday. Also dropping into the losers’ bracket were No. 3 seed Oklahoma and No. 4 Texas Tech.

Texas A&M 4, Alabama 3: An eighth-inning single by Nick Banks gave the No. 6-ranked Aggies their first lead and left fielder Logan Taylor preserved the lead by throwing a runner out at the plate in the ninth for A&M.
