Fort Worth Cats end 7-game skid at Rio Grande Valley’s home field

Andres Rodriguez’ sacrifice fly scored Oscar Garcia with two outs in the top of the ninth inning as the Fort Worth Cats ended a seven-game losing streak at Harlingen Field, beating Rio Grande Valley 4-3 Friday night.

Garcia led off the Cats’ ninth with a single and one out later stole third to set up the tiebreaking run.

Chase Johnson got the save after allowing a runner in the ninth to reach third.
