Kyle Seager did it again.
The Seattle Mariners third baseman drove in the go-ahead run for the second time in three games against the Texas Rangers. His RBI double in the ninth inning off Joe Nathan proved to be the difference in the Mariners’ 4-3 victory over the Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
Seager delivered a go-ahead homer on Friday in the series opener, as Seattle took two of three from Texas.
With the game tied 3-3 going into the ninth, Nathan gave up a leadoff single to Endy Chavez. Chavez moved to second on a sacrifice by Humberto Quintero and, after a Brad Miller flyout and Nick Franklin walk, Seager lined a double to right field.
