Former Penn State Football Star Kyle Vasey, Wife In 'Horrific' Accident

Former Penn State football player Kyle Vasey and his fiancée, Corinne More, were involved in a horrific accident this week.

According to CBS News, 28-year-old Adam Bauserman intentionally drove his vehicle into three people on a sidewalk in Colorado. Vasey suffered serious injuries, including three spine fractures. His fiancée, meanwhile, passed away from her injuries. The third victim, Dianne Windes, died at the age of 72.

Vasey's parents, Bruce and Shelley, created a GoFundMe for them this Tuesday. More than $26,000 was raised in just a few hours.

"Kyle was the victim of a terrible accident while out walking with his fiancée. A pickup truck negligently drove off the road and ran them down, going approximately 45 mph. The driver turned around to check out the damage he caused, then cowardly fled the scene. Fortunately, he was caught," the GoFundMe stated. "Kyle endured multiple fractures all over his body. His left arm was the only limb not injured. He has 3 spine fractures and 4 broken ribs. So far he has had six surgeries. At this point, he's still on a ventilator and is sedated to help manage the pain while his body recovers. Thankfully, there was no major head trauma, and everyone is optimistic about his physical recovery. However, it is expected to be a long road of recovery. His beautiful fiancée did not survive."

The authorities revealed that Bauserman was driving with a revoked license due to a DUI in 2025.

Prayers pouring in for Vasey.

Vasey was the long snapper for Penn State from 2014-2018. He won the  John Bruno Memorial Award for being an "outstanding member of the special teams" during his final season.

The football community in Happy Valley is obviously devastated over this situation.

"This is very tragic," one fan said.

"Did they find the driver? This is so sad and unnecessary," a second fan wrote.

"This sucks. Prayers for the victims," a third fan commented.

Bauserman is facing vehicular homicide, failure to remain at the scene of an accident involving death and several other charges.

Our thoughts are with Vasey's loved ones.
