I wonder, with the number of honest, qualified citizens in Texas, why we always end up with people with so much unfavorable baggage running for our elected offices.
Our candidates very seldom have anything positive to say except how unworthy and dishonest their opponent is. The opponent responds that he/she is not nearly as dishonest as his/her opponent.
My opinion is they both must be right with their character assassinations, because if what they say is not true it seems to me some lawyers would soon be involved.
You ask why only about 15 percent of Texans vote. The answer is 80 percent of the people ask, “Vote for who?”
