It would seem Susan Combs’ talents are wasted as comptroller. Her call for a ‘water revolution’ was one of the best policy statements I have recently read that might have a real impact on Texas’ future. (See: State comptroller calls for a water ‘revolution,’ Wednesday)
Perhaps she has some ideas for education, too. Perhaps she should run for governor.
I have only lived in Texas for three years, but it seems rather odd to me that the comptroller is the one to think about the future of water rather than the governor’s office.
