Invitation to All Points: Thanksgiving special

From 1621, when Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn feast, to 1863, when President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed the last Thursday in November a national “day of Thanksgiving and Praise” even amid Civil War strife, to today’s family gatherings, football and holiday shopping kickoffs, Americans have set this as a special day.
