Her dog disappeared in Texas then showed up 4 years later in Nevada

Maybe Bam Bam just wanted to play some slots.

The tiny Shih Tzu dog from Mesquite disappeared from his Texas home four years ago, according to WFAA, only to be found recently in Las Vegas.

“I never thought I was going to hear anything from him again,” his owner, Jessica Urbina, told the TV station.

Urbina said she left Bam Bam outside while she went to church one day in 2012. When she returned home, he was gone.

Urbina and her family searched for the dog for months with no luck, she told WFAA.

Two weeks ago, a veterinarian’s office in Nevada called Urbina with good news: Bam Bam had been found and traced back to Urbina through a microchip system.

Urbina said the vet’s office told her a good Samaritan had dropped off the dog, Fox 4 News reported.
