A Burleson High student faces a felony charge after he shoved his teacher into a doorknob during an altercation, police said.
The incident happened Nov. 2, said DeAnna Phillips, a police spokeswoman.
Police believe that Dylan Brown, 17, was refusing to go to class. When the teacher approached him in a hallway, Brown got upset and shoved her, Phillips said.
The teacher didn’t have to go to a hospital, but she was injured, Phillips said.

Brown was expected to be charged with assault of a public servant, a third-degree felony, police said.
