Gun fired as 20 to 30 people brawl in California In-N-Out restaurant, cops say
A gun was fired as dozens of people brawled inside an In-N-Out restaurant in California, multiple witnesses and people involved told cops.
There was no property damage, victims or suspects located, Murietta Police said in an April 8 post on Instagram.
The 20-to-30 person fight broke out just after midnight on April 5, the department said in the post. Officials didn’t provide information about what might have sparked the brawl.
Multiple witnesses and people involved told officers that a gun had been fired “at some point,” officials said.
The department is seeking more information from the public to help with the investigation. Anyone with details is asked to contact Detective Reed Leitch at 951-461-6353 or rleitch@murrietaca.gov.
Murrieta is about a 65-mile drive north from San Diego.
