Anyone interested in the cannabis industry is welcome to the Southwest Cannabis Conference and Expo in Fort Worth this month.

According to the event website, there will be two days of educational seminars, networking opportunities, product launches and more.

Former NFL players, Jim McMahon, Ricky Williams, and Kyle Turley, will be guest speakers for a seminar looking in-depth at cannabis in professional sports.

The event, sponsored by Texas Cannabis Industry Association and Dallas Observer, will be at the Fort Worth Convention Center Feb. 28 and 29. Rory Mendoza, executive director of the SWCC Expo, said he hopes it will be the most professional and educational cannabis conference the southwest United States has ever experienced, according to a statement on the official SWCC Expo website.

Anyone who wants to learn about the cannabis industry is welcome. Tickets are $100 a day. Veterans can receive a discount using a promo code found on the website. All government and elected officials will receive free VIP admission.

There will be no cannabis on site or used at the expo, according to a notice on the website.
