Plano-based Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes has opened another location in Fort Worth.

The burger chain opened its doors at 7028 N. Blue Mound Road this week and is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. This is Mooyah’s second location in Fort Worth, after opening a restaurant in 2014 at 9604 Old Denton Road suite 108.

Mooyah serves fries, milkshakes, hot dogs and a variety of hamburgers.

A few items on their “Burger Hall of ‘DANG!’” include “The Hamburdog” — a burger patty topped with a hot dog, cheddar cheese, bacob, jalapeños, fried onion strings, and ketchup on a potato bun.

Another burger highlight is the “The Indulgent BBQ,” which comes with two beef patties, pepper jack cheese, bacon, fried onion strings, barbecue sauce and mayonnaise on a potato bun.

“We’re excited to bring more of the best tasting burgers in DFW to Fort Worth,” Mooyah president Doug Willmarth said. “Opening our second location in Fort Worth and our fifteenth in DFW means it’s now easier than ever for our customers to enjoy the best custom-made burgers, fresh cut fries and hand-spun shakes in town.”

Mooyah is celebrating the Fort Worth opening by giving away free food for a year.

Between Sept. 9-15, 10 guests who scan their Mooyah rewards app will be randomly selected as winners. Additionally, new app users will receive a free burger after their purchase of $10 or more.

Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes first opened in Plano in 2007.

The chain has since expanded into nearly two dozen states and three other countries. In North Texas, the chain has 15 locations across the Metroplex.

Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 7028 N. Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth.
