A woman killed early Sunday after being hit by vehicles on a Fort Worth highway has been identified, officials said.
A woman killed early Sunday after being hit by vehicles on a Fort Worth highway has been identified, officials said.

A pedestrian killed Sunday on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth has been identified as a 22-year-old woman from Harlingen, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website.

The victim was Krishna Amie-Woodard, who died from multiple injuries as she walked along I-30 and was hit by several vehicles, police said. Her death was ruled an accident, according to the medical examiner’s office.

The accident call came into police shortly before 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 4600 block of Interstate 30 in the eastbound lanes.

Witnesses told police the woman was walking westbound in the eastbound lanes when she was hit by a vehicle. While lying on the highway, the woman was run over by two other vehicles, police said.

All drivers stopped after hitting the woman, police said.
