Two injured during gang-related shooting in west Fort Worth, police say

Two people were wounded late Saturday at a west Fort Worth apartment complex in a shooting police described as gang-related.

One man may have shot himself in the leg by accident, police said.

Both victims suffered nonlife-threatening injuries in the shooting.

Police responded to the shooting call just before 11 p.m. Saturday in the 8100 block of Calmont Avenue at the Cambridge Court Apartments.

A caller told police shots were fired in the complex.

When they arrived, police located the two victims. The names of the victims had not been released by authorities.

No one was in custody as of Sunday.
