A man who Fort Worth police say kidnapped a woman in his car, assaulted her, tied her up and threatened her with a knife near a Days Inn hotel has been arrested and jailed, facing charges of aggravated kidnapping.

Ontario Arnaz Ward, 33, of Fort Worth, offered a ride to a 38-year-old woman shortly before 6 a.m. on April 10, according to police. They then parked at the Days Inn South Fort Worth hotel at 4213 South Freeway.

"Suspect told her to get in back seat," police spokesman Brad Perez said via email. "Suspect then climbed in back seat and began to physically assault the victim."

Ward is accused of then tying the woman up and threatening her with a knife, Perez said.

As Ward was climbing back into the front seat, the woman managed to get the back door open and fall out, at which point Ward drove away, Perez said.

"Investigators were able to get good info from victim and surveillance video at hotel," Perez said. Ward was arrested Wednesday.

The woman's condition was not immediately available.

Fort Worth Police and the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office are looking for these 10 fugitives. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. Call 817-469-8477.
