Man arrested in connection with Fort Worth stabbing death

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the stabbing death of a man in Fort Worth last week at the Villages at Samaritan House, records show.

Darrell Dwayne Bibbs, 38, was arrested Friday in connection with the killing of Charles Edward Ford, 35, in the 1000 block of Hemphill Tuesday night, according to a police report. No address was available for either man.

Bibbs faces a murder charge, the report says.

Officers who arrived at the address at about 11 p.m. Tuesday found Ford in the parking lot with a stab wound to the chest. Officers performed first aid until medical personnel arrived and took over, police said.

Ford was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he died.
