Addison police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify and locate a man who is wanted on charges of aggravated robbery in connection to an armed carjacking that occurred on Oct. 22.

CBS 11 news reported that a 14-year-old boy was working out at a baseball facility at 15605 Wright Brothers Drive and walked outside to get some equipment from his parents’ vehicle, police said.

Police said the suspect walked up to the 14-year-old, pointed a handgun at the boy, demanded the keys to the vehicle, and then drove off in it, CBS reported.

According to police, the boy was not injured but vehicle remains missing, CBS reported.

The missing vehicle is a maroon 2007 Mazda CX9 with the Texas license number DLM2096, according to CBS reporting.

Police are asking that anyone with information regarding this case to contact Addison police detectives at 972-450-7169 or their local police agency, CBS reported.
