A fire damaged eight apartments at a complex in east Fort Worth on Monday morning and one woman suffered minor smoke inhalation, a fire official said.
Another eight apartments at the Woodridge Apartments sustained water and smoke damage in the blaze that took firefighters about 15 minutes to get under control, said fire Lt. Kyle Falkner.
Cause of the fire was under investigation.
The blaze was reported shortly before 8 a.m. in the 500 block of Bobwhite Drive.

A woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported.
It wasn’t immediately known how many people dwelt in the apartment complex, but about 16 to 20 people were displaced by the fire. Apartment officials said they would be relocated at the complex or at another complex in the city.
