Man injured after being shot in car in northwest Fort Worth; no arrest made

A man was shot in a car and injured in northwest Fort Worth early Saturday morning, according to police.

Shortly after midnight Saturday, officers responded to a hospital to speak with the victim, who had arrived at an emergency room.

The victim, who had a gunshot wound to the torso, told police that a man approached him and his friend while they were sitting in a car and fired at them.

The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening.

Police have not announced an arrest.
