Benbrook police are searching for 9-year-old Caitlyn Elizabeth Williams, who has been missing since Friday, according to her parents.

Police responded Monday to the call of a missing child. Caitlyn’s parents told police she left home around 3:30 p.m. Friday to spend the weekend with a nearby friend and was supposed to return home Sunday.

When she did not return home Monday, the parents called police. Investigators have spoken with neighbors, friends and relatives.

Caitlyn was last seen riding a pink, purple and white bicycle in the neighborhood close to her home, near the 1100 block of Wade Hampton Street in Benbrook, according to a news release.

She was wearing a yellow T-shirt with a Benbrook Field Day logo, bluejeans and pink and black tennis shoes. Caitlyn is described as a white female, 4 feet 4 inches tall, 95 pounds in weight with brown wavy hair to the middle of her back.
