Police seized four handguns, including one reported stolen in Arlington, and 30 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop Saturday in Arlington.

Officer Alexander Rosado noticed a black 2014 Kia Rio not running its headlights at 1500 Morningside Drive in east Arlington shortly before 9 p.m., he said in an incident report.

After pulling the vehicle over, Rosado sensed the smell of marijuana, according to Lt. Christopher Cook, a police spokesman.

Officers searched the car and found the guns and drugs, according to the report.

"It's possible that the other guns are also stolen, but we have not been able to verify that yet," Cook said.

Three of the guns appear to be equipped with laser sights. A photo of the evidence tweeted by Chief Will Johnson shows the guns are semiautomatic pistols capable of firing 10 to 12 rounds before reloading.

A large portion of what was suspected to be marijuana was in small plastic bags. Police also seized what appeared to be two digital scales, a pipe and empty plastic bags.

According to Rosado's incident report, four people were arrested: Erick Osman Moreno, 17; Miguel Moreno, 17, Kevin Ibarra, 18, and Jose Francisco Moreno, 20.
