Weatherford High School's boys and girls varsity and junior varsity wrestlers “dominated” in last week’s Tri-Meet showdown against Haltom and Paschal.
Despite having to give up three weight classes to Haltom, the boys came out ahead, 48-33. This is the seventh consecutive year the Roos have defeated Haltom. Wins came from Nate Moore, Alan Prince, Travis Prince, Zach Watson, Christopher Sones and Gramm Kelly.
Following the Haltom matchup, the boys wrestled well but fell to Paschal, 48-21. The Kangaroos had to spot the Panthers 30 points due to open weights. Wins came from Moore, Prince, Sones and Kelly.
