Isaiah Mallory ran for 198 yards and three touchdowns, and Aledo returned three interceptions for scores as the No. 1 Bearcats defeated Fort Worth Trimble Tech 69-0 in a Class 5A Division I bi-district game Thursday night at Chisholm Trail Stadium.
The Bearcats (10-1) took the opening drive 52 yards as Mallory scored from 14 yards out just 1:30 into the game. Mallory would score again from the 18 to put Aledo up 28-0 with 4:45 left in the second quarter. His third score came from 2 yards out midway through the third quarter.
Trimble Tech looked to tie the score at 7-all, but its first drive stalled after Johnathan Durham picked off a pass at the Aledo 12-yard line.
After the Bearcats punted, they forced the Bulldogs into a three-and-out. Ryan Newsome returned the ensuing punt 46 yards for a touchdown to give Aledo a 14-point lead in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs (6-5) recovered an Aledo fumble, but two plays later Pat Peek intercepted a pass and took it 70 yards for a score with 10:35 left in the first half.
Luke Bishop added an 8-yard scoring run late in the half to put Aledo up 35-0.
In the second half, Michael McCay and Byron Keil scored on interception returns from 80 and 31 yards, respectively.
Jaylon McLean led Trimble Tech with six catches for 91 yards.
Aledo will face Denton (8-3) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Northwest ISD Stadium in Justin in the area round.
