The only thing that stood between an undefeated District 4-3A season for the Brock football team was the Boyd Yellowjackets.

Turned out for the Eagles that a 49-14 win sealed the game and the district championship for Brock.

Up next, Brock travels to Graham to take on the Bangs Dragons at 7 p.m. Thursday at Newton Field in the bi-district round of the playoffs.

On Friday, though the temps outside were chilly, it was head coach Chad Worrell who was congratulated with an ice bath after the Eagles victory. But despite the celebration, Worrell said he knows the team isn’t done yet and still has some work to do.
