Trinity Christian Academy has announed the hiring of Joe Hamstra as its new athletic director and head football coach.
Hamstra has over 20 years of teaching, coaching and administrative experience in Christian schools, most recently serving as athletic director and head football coach at Southwest Christian School in Fort Worth. He holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a bachelor’s degree in math education.
The opportunity to partner with the TCA community and to further grow the school’s athletic program is “an exciting prospect,” Hamstra said.
"It is an honor and privilege to join a school whose Christian worldview extends outside of the classroom and into other disciplines such as athletics," he saids. "As a coach, I am deeply concerned not only with excellence in the athletic arena, but also mentoring Godly young men and women that will make a difference for eternity."
