The Peaster Greyhounds 12U team recently traveled to Bowie Texas to compete in the Bowie Little Dribblers Bowie Bash tournament and came back as champions.

At the conclusion of three days of pool play, the Hounds earned a No. 2 overall seed and began bracket play which produced 13 games among 14 teams in a single-elimination format. The boys competed against teams from Wichita Falls, Decatur, Windthorst, Dallas and Bowie.

The pool for 12U boys fielded teams from Graham, Canton, Dallas, Decatur, Wichita Falls, Nocona, Windthorst and Bowie. The Hounds ultimately finished as tournament champions with a tournament record of 5-0.

For their efforts, the boys were rewarded with a stylish signature trophy from the Bowie Little Dribblers Program as the 2015 Bowie Basketball Bash 12U Boys Champion. The tournament concluded the Hound’s season with a final overall record of 25-0.

The winter league season produced a tournament championship and undefeated slate in both the Santo and Millsap 5th and 6th grade boys league play.
