I want to tell you some things about Elections without naming Candidates.
Since this is election time again, your Candidate decisions decides your future in nearly every aspect of your life, for every individual citizen.
In the year 2000, when the Supreme Court stopped the vote count in Florida, and the first time in American history, appointed a Republican President of the United States. The majority of middle class American's lives began to change many ways, for the worse. Our President now inherited a nightmare, with the great recession plunge of 2008. Middle class incomes shrank, then the loss of homes due to Wall Street and the collusion with big Banks. Their massive sale of derivatives and toxic pumped up assets, set the stage for massive bailouts for "Too Big To Fail" Banks and large Insurance brokers.

The Poor the Elderly and the Disabled and many people of color, lives suffered by the cost of living rising to the point where basic essentials of life became total disparity. It was not the cost of food stamps that caused all of this, like Republicans will tell you. The laws and regulations were overturned by greed, that once protected our savings and retirements. Then individuals Civil Rights and Liberties were eroded by Republicans in Statehouses, and in Texas.
Cost of utilities sky rocked past 500 percent. Corporate pollution was everywhere. Women's rights in healthcare practically ended, women for equal pay, organizing for Collective Bargaining became under siege. A needed new minimum wage requirement that would help meet a new family's basic needs, was vigorously attacked by Republicans. A massive transfer of wealth in America followed, and funneled thru loopholes to the wealthy top one percent. Many well connected, transferred their large profits to the Caribbean Islands, to avoid paying taxes.
Equal Justice under the law, was no more. Now the deep pockets and six digit salary's in many State and local Governments, are paid for on the backs of the poor, and the disabled. Some are charged with crimes they never committed. The mentally ill, in many local and State Governments get ignored by some Court Appointed Attorneys, and thru fear of jail, victims are made to do guilty pleas for probation, and pay monthly fees when they are ill, and physically unable to work. I am seeing in Texas, where Responsibility Assessment fines and fees, actually target the poor.
If you have suffered these things here in Texas, in your County or City, you need to start telling your story, in print and in the media. It is going to take the people rising up, and starting over, by ending the same old, same old, trickle down politics. Corporations profit millions from third world countries, in sweat shops and in unsafe working conditions. America does not need to become that kind of Country.
Our lands and water and air in many areas across Texas are in jeopardy, sacrificed to make large profits, while regulations to protect the health of the People are ignored or voted down by Republicans in Congress, and Legislatures, and yes, even in City
By the way, I'm sorry about any judges loss of life, but after the "Citizens United" decision passed in the Supreme Court, (which allows Corporations to actually buy the outcome of an elections,) which voids my vote, I realized this vacancy now, might have been a merciful Act of God. I hope this information helps you to make a better decision when voting, this time!
