Families from all over Parker County lined South Main Street to see sights and hear the sounds of the holiday season during the 25th annual Weatherford Christmas Parade.
For the 15th consecutive year the Governor Samuel W.T. Lanham Camp 586, Sons of Confederate Veterans, hosted the event that saw a huge turnout.
“We truly enjoy giving this gift to the citizens of Weatherford each year,” said Larry Martin, Commander of the organization. “It is truly our honor and pleasure.”
Afterwords, parade goers were treated to a variety of festive activities as the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Christmas on the Square Holiday Celebration in Historic Downtown.
