Texas Bank Mortgage Company President Bob Havran has announced that long time local mortgage banker Joe Barnhart has joined the company as executive vice president.
"Joe brings a wealth of mortgage knowledge and expertise to our banking family," Havran said. "We’re proud to have him at Texas Bank Mortgage."
Barnhart’s banking career spans 35 years and he will be building a new origination team to complement existing production and take advantage of the “outstanding mortgage origination platform we have in place.”
“As one of a very few mortgage lenders based in Tarrant County that are Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Seller/Servicers, we have flexibility that most mortgage lenders do not enjoy. I believe this flexibility, combined with our ability to put mortgage loans in our bank portfolio, will enable us to offer our clients superior service and range of mortgage products," Barnhart said. "My background is successfully establishing and operating full service mortgage banking enterprises within community banks. One of my unique skills is the ability to bridge the gap between traditional mortgage banking cultures and that of a community bank."
