Medical City Weatherford, formerly Weatherford Regional Medical Center, announced it has been recognized by The Chartis Center for Rural Health/iVantage Health Analytics and the National Organization of State Office of Rural Health (NOSORH) for overall excellence in outcome, reflecting top quartile performance among all rural hospitals in the nation.
“Our physicians, nurses and entire hospital staff work hard each day to deliver excellence in quality care to our patients,” says David Orcutt, CEO of Medical City Weatherford. “Rural community hospitals like Medical City Weatherford don’t always receive the recognition that they deserve. We’re honored to receive this recognition from the state.”
The rankings are determined each year using iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX®, a data-driven program designed to identify excellence across a broad spectrum of indicators. The Hospital Strength INDEX captures performance metrics for all rural and Critical Access Hospitals.
Medical City Weatherford is marking the honor alongside fellow rural hospitals receiving recognition on Thursday, Nov. 17th for National Rural Health Day.
