Aledo students choose Trump in mock election

Perhaps the kids at Coder Elementary in Aledo knew something. Students conducted a mock election Tuesday with each student checking into a voting booth, making their choice and then casting his/her ballot.

The results were as follows:

▪ Donald Trump: 271 votes

Hillary Clinton: 84 votes

Gary Johnson: 39 votes

Jill Stein: 27 votes
