Our Junior World Affairs Council (JWAC) students had the privilege of hearing and meeting two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning author David McCullough. MuCullough spoke at the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas Love Field Airport on Friday, Nov. 20, about his latest book, “The Wright Brothers.”

“I am very proud of our freshmen…we had fun...got a book signed for our library, and meet an inspiring author,” Sky Manning, Aledo’s JWAC President said. “David McCullough’s storytelling provided a deeper understanding of the brothers, as well as the invaluable contribution that their younger sister Katharine provided.”

Freshman Savanna Staggs commented, “Aviation takes to new skies with a pen in hand.”
