Theatre Off The Square presents final show of the season

Theatre Off The Square in Weatherford proudly presents the last production of their 2015 Season of Shows, A Good Old Fashioned Redneck Country Christmas by Kris Bauske.

The comedy is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. and is directed by Wally Jones, with Glenda Webb as Assistant Director and Tamra O’Connor as Stage Manager. The Weatherford High School student interns for this production are Tony Thorn (Director’s Intern) and Garrett Hamilton (Stage Manager’s Intern). Beginning at 7:30 pm every Friday and Saturday and 1:30 pm every Sunday, pre-show Christmas carols will be performed by the Parker County Retired Teachers Association Songbirds. The show begins Fri., Dec. 4 and runs weekends through Dec. 20.

Members of the cast are Dan Parris as Bob/Narrator, Tammy Dombeck as Lou Wexler, Jennifer Chane as Barbie Jo Fox, Ashley Goubert as Darlene Fulmer, Drue Pettigrew as Dave Fox, John Cobb as Jimmy Weaver, Ray Shannon as Bill Wexler, Trint Gardiner as Mark Riley, and Jessica Braswell as Mary Sue Archer.

Come join the festivities opening night, Dec. 4, as the playwright of A Good Old Fashioned Redneck Country Christmas, Kris Bauske, is coming from Florida to attend the show. For those patrons who attend the performance that evening, Theatre Off The Square is holding a meet and greet reception following the show. Bauske says she would love to chat with the audience and cast. Please make your reservations for Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. to be able to partake of this fun event.

If not opening night, please attend an afternoon or evening of entertainment Sat., Dec. 5 and running through Sun., Dec. 20. Show times are Fri. and Sat. at 8 pm and Sun. at 2 pm. Theatre Off The Square is located at 114 North Denton Street.

Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for seniors (60+)/students/children under school age. Matinee tickets are $11 for all ages and no other discounts apply. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $14 at the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, with reserved seating recommended by calling 817-341-8687. Groups of 10 or more may reserve seating with prepaid admission of $12 per person on Fridays and Saturdays and $10 per person on Sundays.

You can choose your seats and purchase your tickets to any performance online by visiting the website www.theatreoffthesquare.org. For your convenience, the Box Office is open from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday evenings to purchase tickets and to reserve seats. Theatre Off The Square’s 2016 Season of Shows was announced Oct. 10 at the annual dinner and evening of entertainment honoring the support of our Season Ticket Holders. Season Tickets, 8 great shows plus the musical, Nunsense: The Second Coming are $100 and are now on sale. Visit the website or the theatre’s Box Office for purchase. Ticket sales will continue until Feb. 14. Get ready for another fantastic year of entertainment from the only live theatre venue in Parker County.
