The annual Christmas parade, Sat., Dec. 5th, will kick off the festivities starting at 10 a.m. at the Weatherford 9th Grade Center and make its way up South Main, around the courthouse, head west on Palo Pinto Street and pass by Cherry Park. Take advantage of the great shopping and special treats available in the downtown stores. Many vendors and stores will offer special prices and sales, so you can stock up on Holiday gifts while you enjoy the festive atmosphere.
There will be lots of fun, family friendly activities for all to enjoy. An entertainment stage, sponsored by First National Bank, will showcase holiday music and talents. Kids will love the activities in the Kid's Area, the mini train rides, sponsored by Weatherford Regional Medical Center and roaming Christmas characters like the Grinch, the Nutcracker and Chris Moose. Back by popular demand, the Classic Car Show will be in the Southwest quadrant of the square! There will be many other fun activities and entertainment all throughout our wonderful downtown.
