Marian Flinchbaugh, a teacher at Coder Elementary School in the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities, has been named Aledo ISD’s Jack Harvey Fellowship Award nominee as part of the Jack Harvey Academy of Exemplary Teachers.
Sponsored by Weatherford College, the exemplary-teacher award recognizes teaching excellence among educators from the college’s partner schools.
Flinchbaugh has taught in Aledo since 2005. She received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Syracuse University in New York.
“Ms. Flinchbaugh amazes us with her ability to work with young children in the PPCD program,” said AISD Deputy Superintendent Lynn McKinney. “Her dedication to and advocacy for these children is the primary reason Aledo ISD is proud to have her represent the district as our Jack Harvey nominee.”
